Commercial Operations Lead

The key role in this position is to oversee the commercial operations of a leading Harness Racing Club.

This pivotal position has a direct impact on the club's financial performance and market positioning. Success in this role is crucial for the company's overall growth and sustainability.

Responsibilities:
  • Optimise current sponsorship relationships and establish new ones
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, service, and finance teams to drive commercial initiatives and achieve business objectives
  • Stay ahead of market trends, including evolving technologies and competitive landscapes
  • Develop and implement strategic social media approaches to increase visibility
  • Work closely with key stakeholders, including the CEO, external marketing departments, clients, partners, and industry regulators
Requirements:
  • A commercially savvy leader with a passion for harness racing
  • Ability to measure success using key performance indicators (KPIs), such as revenue growth, functional income, member acquisition, profitability margins, and successful partnership and sponsorship agreements
