A pivotal opportunity exists in our Sydney office, seeking a highly skilled Hydraulic Business Strategist to spearhead water supply endeavors.

About the Role:
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute business strategies to expand our presence within the water supply sector.
  • Analyze market trends and assess the competitive landscape.
  • Pursue new clients and maintain existing customer relationships.
  • Negotiate agreements and oversee projects from planning to commissioning.
  • Cultivate strong partnerships with internal teams, partners, and stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, laws, and environmental standards within the water sector.
  • Manage resources and budgets for projects.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in hydraulic engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in business development activities.
  • 10+ years of technical expertise and project management in the sector, preferably in water supply or infrastructure in Australia.
  • Knowledge of water supply systems, technical standards, and local environmental regulations.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, including client relationship management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office.
