A leading global network of specialists in engineering, design, and architecture is seeking a talented Water Supply Sector Development Manager to join their team.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing the company's Water Supply strategy nationally, in collaboration with senior management.

This includes identifying and analysing market trends, acquiring new clients, bidding activities, negotiating, and ultimately managing projects in the water supply sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement business strategies to expand the company's footprint in the water supply sector.
  • Identify and analyse market trends and the competitive landscape.
  • Acquire new clients and maintain existing customer relationships.
  • Negotiate with clients and manage project deliverables.
  • Lead and manage projects in the water supply arena, from planning to commissioning.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, partners, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, laws, and environmental standards within the water sector.
Requirements:

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, applicants should have:

  • A Master's degree in hydraulic engineering or a related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in or exposure to business development activities.
  • At least 10 years of technical experience and project management in the sector (of which at least 5 years in technical delivery), preferably in the water supply or infrastructure field in Australia.
  • Knowledge of water supply systems, technical standards, and local environmental regulations.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills and Client Relationship Management skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate project teams.
  • Team Player.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office.
