Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Developer and Project Manager to lead our Water Supply strategy nationally.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and analysing market trends, acquiring new clients, negotiating projects in the water supply sector, and spearheading initiatives to recruit key team members.

  • Develop and implement business strategies to expand the company's footprint in the water supply sector.
  • Identify and analyse market trends and the competitive landscape.
  • Acquire new clients and maintain existing customer relationships.
  • Negotiate with Clients.
  • Lead and manage projects in the water supply arena, from planning to commissioning.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, partners, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.

For this role, we require:

  • A Master's degree in hydraulic engineering or a related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in or exposure to business development activities.
  • At least 10 years of technical experience and project management in the sector, preferably in the water supply or infrastructure field in Australia.
  • Knowledge of water supply systems, technical standards, and local environmental regulations.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills and Client Relationship Management skills.
  • Knowledge of local market.
  • Ability to lead and motivate project teams.
