Reliability and Maintenance Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to support plant performance and maintenance systems across multiple sites. As a key member of our Interior Systems operations, you will play a crucial role in driving real gains in reliability, efficiency, and cost control.

About the Role:

This full-time permanent position is based in either Sydney or Melbourne, with ad hoc travel to sites as required. You will report to the Group Engineering Manager and work closely with local teams to deliver improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Champion maintenance systems, change management, and OPEX reliability frameworks.
  • Coach, audit, and train maintenance teams using on-site and virtual methods.
  • Partner with the Reliability Systems Specialist and site leaders to drive OEE and cost improvements.
  • Review and optimise existing maintenance strategies, eliminating waste and increasing value.
  • Provide support for major shutdown planning and execution.
  • Enhance preventative and predictive maintenance processes using SAP-PM.
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts across plant reliability systems.

Requirements:

  • Solid experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills across technical and frontline teams.
  • Practical exposure to SAP PM, maintenance data analysis, and CMMS systems.
  • Familiarity with FMEA, reliability engineering tools, and best practices.
  • Mechanical and/or electrical aptitude.
  • A collaborative, improvement-focused mindset.
