Sharp & Carter is proud to partner exclusively with Riverina Fresh to find a Maintenance and Reliability Manager for their Wagga Wagga site.
This is a rare opportunity to join a proudly Australian-owned business with over 100 years of heritage, known for producing some of the country's finest fresh dairy products.
About The Role
The Wagga Wagga facility operates 24/6, making it a fast-paced, high-volume, daily fresh facility that requires quick thinking.
You will manage a small but highly experienced team of 6 (fitters, electricians, and maintenance coordinator).
Key Responsibilities

Lead, support, and develop a seasoned maintenance team.
Enhance reliability and uptime, especially with legacy equipment.
Implement modern maintenance practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with site leadership on capital projects, maintenance planning, and long-term reliability strategies.
Oversee preventative and reactive maintenance schedules.

What You'll Bring

Strong leadership skills with a proactive, people-first approach.
Experience in high-volume, fast-paced manufacturing, preferably in fresh food sectors.
A proactive attitude towards improving reliability and efficiency.
Ability to manage change effectively within a well-established team.
Trade qualifications or an engineering background are highly regarded.

This role is ideal for candidates experienced in fresh food manufacturing (dairy, meat, or produce) who understand the pressures of producing short shelf-life products.
