Maintenance Manager - Engineering Expert


About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance function at our large scale, complex milling site. Your primary objective will be to enhance plant reliability and efficiency.

This is a permanent, full-time position in Brisbane with Monday to Friday working hours. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in engineering and maintenance, as well as strong leadership and decision-making skills.


Key Responsibilities
  • To implement standardised preventative, corrective and condition based maintenance systems for the site.
  • Ensure adherence to policies and procedures, and involve continual process improvement.
  • Manage capital expenditure projects to satisfy the maintenance function.
  • Control costs and assist in budget preparation.
  • Assist in operational implementation of Quality Management systems, Food safety systems, and Occupational health and safety systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Qualifications in Engineering, Industrial Trade or related discipline.
  • 10+ years Industrial site maintenance experience.
  • Minimum 5-10 years experience at maintenance management / supervisory level.
  • Strong internal customer awareness.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Benefits

The successful candidate will have access to a comprehensive salary package including AU$130,000 - AU$140,000 per annum + super.
