Maintenance Technician - Permanent Role
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Highly skilled Maintenance Technicians are required to join our team and support site operations through high-quality maintenance services. We're seeking a proactive and experienced professional who can work effectively in a multicultural environment.

As a key member of the maintenance team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of site operations. You'll perform both planned and reactive maintenance tasks, working closely with internal teams and external suppliers to keep equipment running smoothly and safely.

The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team. They'll possess a Trade Certificate – Mechanical Fitter and experience with industrial conveyor and bagging equipment. Familiarity with safety and quality control practices is essential, as well as basic computer literacy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute scheduled maintenance tasks and respond to unplanned maintenance requests
  • Perform maintenance activities in line with engineering standards and ensure tasks are completed to standard
  • Participate in weekly planning meetings to improve maintenance processes
  • Liaise with suppliers to source parts and recommend cost-effective solutions
  • Supervise contractors when required and ensure tasks are completed to standard
  • Assist with audits, inspections, and undertake required training

Technical Requirements:

  • Trade Certificate – Mechanical Fitter
  • Pneumatics and Hydraulics experience (certification desirable)
  • Experience with industrial conveyor and bagging equipment (desirable)
  • Familiarity with safety and quality control practices
  • Basic computer literacy; SAP experience desirable
  • Current driver's license
  • HRWL Forklift license
  • HRWL Boom Type EWP, LVR/CPR, and First Aid certificates (desirable)
