Heavy Equipment Technician Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team in the off-site rebuild facility at Mt Thorley.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to take their career to the next level, working on a variety of heavy equipment and machinery.

The ideal candidate will have experience in maintaining and repairing heavy earth moving equipment, including Caterpillar off-highway trucks and other related machinery.

As a Heavy Equipment Technician with our company, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting with machine overhauls and component change outs
  • Performing general repairs and servicing
  • Ensuring equipment is compliant with mine site and MDG15 requirements
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant trade certificate or equivalent qualification
  • Class 'C' Driver's licence
  • Post-trade experience working in the mining and heavy earth moving industry
  • Experience in general maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of heavy earth moving equipment
  • Strong work ethic and self-motivation
