**About the role**

UGL's Manufacturing & Maintenance business is experiencing increased growth within our locomotive maintenance division supporting our customer at their facility based in Greta, NSW. We are looking for Heavy Maintenance Service Technicians of a Mechanical or Electrical background to join the team.

These roles will be offered on a permanent fulltime basis working on a rotating roster of 12 hour day shifts with some weekend work included.

Reporting to the Site Supervisor this role will see you supporting with rolling stock maintenance activities, both scheduled and un-scheduled, for our customers fleet of locomotives.

**About You**
- Australian recognised trade certificate and hold a Certificate of Proficiency - Mechanical or Electrical
- Working experience in a maintenance environment is essential - Preferably rollingstock maintenance
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Reliable & punctual.
- General rail and locomotive experience is desirable but not a necessity.
- Commitment to a safe work environment and practices.
- Work autonomously and in a team environment.
- Focused on quality work & customer service excellence.
- Forklift license is desirable but not a necessity.
- Work cover overhead crane licence desirable but not a necessity.
