The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

The Procurement Coordinator will be responsible for delivering a full range of purchasing services to management and employees. Key accountabilities include reviewing suppliers based on site performance, pricing, and HSE requirements. The successful candidate will also liaise with suppliers regarding new products, pricing, performance, and other matters.

Additionally, the Procurement Coordinator will act as the first point of contact for the business by suppliers, staff, and provide training and advice where required. They will also release changes of supplier, process, or other to the business and communicate these changes to relevant parties.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, applicants should have a Diploma of Building/Construction or Certificate in Building Construction combined with work experience. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, including interviewing, counselling, negotiating, and report writing.

A well-developed knowledge of Estimating and Construction procedures and practices is also required, along with the ability to interpret plans, details, and project briefs. Proven problem-solving and organizational skills, including attention to detail and the ability to prioritize workload, are necessary.
