Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing procurements from the acquisition of materiel through to inventory management in MILIS and CARDS, utilizing Defence procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage procurements from materiel acquisition to inventory management in MILIS and CARDS.
  • Apply Defence procurement processes to ensure seamless execution.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Legal, Finance, or similar, or relevant professional experience.
  • Experience in Defence and Commonwealth Government finance and contracting policy and practices.
  • Experience in Defence procurement.
  • MILIS and CARDS experience is highly desirable.
  • Financial planning, pricing, planning, billing procedures, and contract administration experience.
  • SAP experience is desirable.
  • Implementation of export controls and US International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) experience is desirable.
  • Ability to develop and maintain spreadsheet models.
  • Proficient in MS Office products.
  • Defence NV1 security clearance is essential for this role.
