Senior BIM Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Senior BIM Manager to spearhead the implementation of Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Information Management processes across our projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for guiding design teams to achieve successful project outcomes through effective utilisation of BIM and better Information Management practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to design teams to ensure successful project outcomes through strategic BIM and IM process implementation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define BIM scope, workflows, and plans on projects, ensuring alignment with client standards and industry best practices.
  • Develop and implement BIM Execution Plans in conjunction with delivery teams, fostering stakeholder engagement and consensus.
  • Contribute to the development of organisational BIM strategies, aligning with business objectives and industry trends.
  • Lead by example, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages innovation and collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Architecture or Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, etc.) or equivalent professional qualification, complemented by significant industry experience.
  • Proven expertise in primary 3D BIM products, including hands-on modelling, model configuration, setup, and management within a Common Data Environment (CDE).
  • At least 5 years of leadership experience as a BIM Manager in the engineering/construction industry or built environment, with a strong track record of driving BIM adoption and process improvement.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving: Ability to analyse complex challenges, develop innovative solutions, and champion new BIM workflows.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Experience in leading and motivating high-performing teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
