BIM Professional Leader

The BIM Manager Role entails overseeing the Digital Engineering (DE) Program and its stakeholders, providing leadership to internal experts assigned to the program.

This initiative transforms Powerlink's network projects by upgrading and modernizing key tools and processes over a 2-3 year period.

  • Demonstrated expertise in setting up Digital Engineering, BIM processes and federated models for DE workflows
  • Experience in HV transmission asset management or large capital infrastructure/construction development environments
  • Able to provide specialist technical services and advice to key stakeholders and customers
  • Expertise with BIM workflows, interoperability and exchange between various authoring and BIM management tools;
  • Proficient in multiple types of BIM software

To achieve this, the ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding the development, delivery and embedding of the Digital Engineering Program platforms, frameworks, information and processes.

This involves tailoring current project frameworks to be fit for purpose and injecting Digital Engineering expertise into early phases of the program and pilots.

  • Leading the development and delivery of the Digital Engineering Program
  • Providing leadership to internal Subject Matter Experts assigned to the program
  • Guiding the implementation of BIM processes and federated models for DE workflows
  • Ensuring seamless interoperability and exchange between various authoring and BIM management tools
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and customers
