The Principal role at Navigator College offers a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in education management, strategic planning, and leadership to foster academic excellence, staff development, and community engagement.

As a seasoned educational professional, you will be responsible for delivering on the College's strategic priorities, further enhancing its strong pillars and Christ-centred learning environment. Your exceptional communication, leadership, and commercial management skills will be complemented by a spirit of adventure, innovation, integrity, authenticity, humility, and passion to inspire staff, students, and the broader school community.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to build deep, authentic relationships between staff, students, parents, key stakeholders, and the wider community.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Future-Focused Education: Providing vibrant, progressive learning within SACE and IB frameworks, preparing students for tomorrow's challenges;
  • Staff Development: Leading, motivating, and developing outstanding educational, operational, and support staff;
  • Community Engagement: Championing the College while fostering inclusive community spirit and managing key stakeholder relationships;
  • Collaborative Leadership: Building deep, authentic relationships between staff, students, parents, key stakeholders, and the wider community;
  • Lutheran Values: Living and promoting the Lutheran values and ethos of the College as an authentic model of faith-based education;
  • Facilities & Resource Management: Building, enhancing, and maintaining state-of-the-art educational facilities while ensuring strong governance over financial and physical resources.
