Underground Production Leader

As a key leader in underground mining, you will have the opportunity to drive production activities across multiple operations. This role is ideal for individuals who are looking to take ownership of mine production and ensure safe and productive practices.

The Underground Mining Superintendent will lead and direct production teams to achieve operational targets. Responsibilities will include:

  • Providing strong leadership and guidance to underground mining teams
  • Utilizing proven knowledge and experience in high-speed development
  • Developing and implementing operational plans, schedules, and safe work procedures
  • Managing team performance, development, and behavior to meet goals
  • Overseeing cost management and ensuring alignment with budgets
  • Leading workforce planning to maintain business continuity

With a minimum of 10 years' experience in underground mining, preferably in project management, or at least 5 years of engineering experience combined with hands-on underground mining exposure, you will have a solid foundation to succeed in this role.

About you

You will have:

  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in underground mining, preferably in project management

  • Proven leadership skills to manage teams and drive change
  • Strong knowledge of mining regulations and excellent cost management
