Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Underground Production Engineer to join our team. This role will be responsible for coordinating production drilling and stoping activities, ensuring that schedule targets are achieved.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead production drilling and stoping activities to achieve schedule targets
  • Collaborate with contracting partners to ensure compliance with the mining plan
  • Design stope drill plans, charge plans, and reconciliations in line with business requirements
  • Participate in QAQC activities for blasting
  • Design slot raising plans, remote plans, and void management plans in line with site procedures
  • Show active field leadership through regular underground inspections
  • Provide mentorship for graduates
  • Lead business objectives and projects
  • Contribute to business improvement initiatives
  • Evaluate technical plans to ensure health and safety of underground workers in accordance with WHS regulations
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related field
  • Proven experience in underground production activities
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Effective time management and decision-making abilities
  • Australian permanent working rights
  • Western Australian C-class driver's license
  • National Police Clearance
