Job Title: Nurse Unit Manager Level 1

Are you a passionate and experienced nursing leader ready to make a difference?

Central Coast Local Health District is seeking a skilled Nurse Unit Manager (Level 1) to oversee our innovative Virtual Care and Triage service, alongside our dedicated Aged Care Response Team.

About the Role:

  • Lead a team of nurses delivering care in the community setting with a focus on avoiding unnecessary hospital presentations.
  • Support and monitor clients virtually and face-to-face living at home in the Community.
  • Manage strong linkages with Ambulance NSW and local Urgent Care Services.
  • Report to the Nurse Manager of the Central Coast at Home Team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse (Division 1).
  • Proven leadership and management skills and demonstrated ability to coach, lead, manage, and support a clinical team.
  • A current NSW Driver's Licence.
  • NSW Health National Criminal Record Check.
