You will be travelling around your local suburbs and surrounding areas and will need to have some availability during weekdays Monday to Friday between 8am-5pm.
(Preferably 3 minimum days)Day to day this role looks like:General household tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, ironing, cleaning the bathroom & kitchen, changing beds and washingTransport to appointments and shoppingMeal preparationSocial Support or Respite for family/carersPersonal care including assistance with showering and dressing ( if qualified/fully trained)To be successful in this role you'll need:A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderlyComfortable interacting with a wide variety of peopleA reliable team playerUnderstanding of workplace health and safetyAn Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable insured motor vehicle (essential)Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent (preferred but not essential)What we can offer youCompetitive hourly pay rate + Km reimbursement (99c per Km) + paid travel timeNot-for-profit tax benefits so you pay less taxFitness Passport discounted gym benefitsPaid Parental leaveLong Service leave after 5 years40+ Locations across NSW and QLD if you choose to moveA values-based organisation that welcomes applicants from all faiths and backgroundsWe know you have many choices of employer - choose Catholic Healthcare where you can make a positive impact and be well rewarded.Apply online now
