The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in aged care and be able to demonstrate exceptional leadership skills.

We are seeking a Healthcare Leader who is passionate about delivering patient-centered care and can build strong relationships with residents, families, and internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality and person-centered care to residents.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans that meet the unique health requirements and preferences of each resident.
  • Manage medication administration and wound care, ensuring ongoing clinical excellence and compliance with relevant standards.
  • Communicate effectively with residents' families or legal guardians, providing updates on their loved one's condition and involving them in care decisions when appropriate.
  • Address emergency situations and critical incidents promptly and effectively, demonstrating crisis management skills.
Requirements:
  • Current AHPRA registration and minimum 2 years' experience in Aged Care as a Registered Nurse.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience with ANNAC.
  • Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Outstanding proficiency in care planning, goal setting and evaluation documentation.
