Reporting to the Pacific Services Manager, the Interlock Installation & Service Manager (IISM) will be situated at our Notting Hill headquarters, enjoying a flexible work environment with the possibility of hybrid arrangements. The IISM is essential in overseeing the quality, accessibility, and effectiveness of services rendered by authorized Draeger Interlock agencies and installation and repair facilities across Australia and New Zealand. This role involves proactive engagement with clients, including regular interstate travel to drive improvements, and encompasses the following responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of skilled Interlock installation and repair technicians;
  • Manage all internal and external installation, service, and operational activities;
  • Conduct regular visits, audits, and support for local and interstate teams, including agency partners;
  • Actively identify and onboard new agencies to facilitate business expansion;
  • Collaborate with the Interlock support team to train new agencies, installers, and service providers on technical specifications;
  • Promote continuous enhancement of installation, service, repair, and data management processes for maximum efficiency and profitability;
  • Ensure compliance with local and national regulations in all operations;
  • Regularly report on business performance against assigned KPIs;
  • Maintain a compliance-focused approach across all operations;
  • Prioritize safety in all activities.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications, skills, and experience:

  • Tertiary qualification or relevant experience in Business, Frontline Management, or a related discipline;
  • 10 to 15+ years of experience in automotive accessories and components, auto electrics, or a related field;
  • 3 to 5+ years of experience in leading small to medium-sized technical teams;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Service Management/CRM software;
  • Ability to acquire in-depth knowledge of Draeger Interlock products and their applications;
  • Skilled in identifying customer needs and delivering effective solutions;
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment while meeting deadlines;
  • Strong customer focus, along with facilitation, influencing, negotiation, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills;
  • A collaborative team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to continuous learning;
  • Willingness to travel interstate as required;
  • Valid Driver's License.

A Police Check will be necessary for this role.
