Strategic Workday Transformation Specialist

The role of a Principal Consultant is to bridge the gap between business and technical teams by solving complex Workday intersystem problems. They will guide clients through the transformation, implementation, and operation phases of a Workday solution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guide the client through facilitated design sessions and configuration decisions based on best practices and an understanding of the client's unique business requirements at all stages of the project.
  • Engage and support the client throughout all phases of the project, ensuring a smooth transfer from legacy systems to the Workday HCM solution.
  • Perform multiple tasks with limited direction while keeping stakeholders informed of changes or progress related to the project.
  • Take a leadership position on a project as a Workday product Partner Lead and/or Delivery Assurance Reviewer.
  • Utilize hands-on expertise in software configuration, including loading client data, moving configurations between tenants, and configuring business processes and security.
  • Convert and map data sources into data conversion templates via iLoads.
  • Mentor fellow consultants and analysts, providing support for shadow assignments.
  • Participate in training and share skills and learnings within the organization.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of Workday functional implementation experience required.
  • 2-5 years Human Resources, Payroll, or Financial software experience required.
  • Implementing functional solutions with ERP or SaaS software required.
  • Gathering business requirements, designing, prototyping, testing, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines.
  • Demonstrated functional experience in Human Resources, Payroll, or Financials Management.
