Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Project Officer to play a pivotal role in driving economic growth and creating jobs in the public sector.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing commercial viability of private sector investment proposals, building relationships with internal and external stakeholders, analysing current and emerging economic trends, negotiating with key stakeholders, and preparing reports, business cases, and correspondence for decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and evaluate investment proposals to ensure they align with government priorities.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders to identify and progress investment opportunities.
  • Analyse economic data to inform investment strategies and make informed decisions.
  • Negotiate with stakeholders to secure high-value investment and drive economic growth.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality reports, business cases, and correspondence to support decision-making.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Demonstrated background in business development or investment facilitation.
  • Excellent analytical skills to research and interpret complex economic data.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
