Economic Leadership Role
You will drive the delivery of expert economic policy advice as a key member of our team. Your role will involve leading a high-performing team to develop innovative policy solutions, fostering collaboration across government and external stakeholders, and contributing to the development of economically responsible public policy that supports long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the development of strategic direction for research, analysis, and economic policy advice.
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to address complex economic issues.
- Oversee the preparation of reports, economic modelling, and policy submissions.
- Represent our organization on intergovernmental committees and working groups.
- Coordinate whole-of-government processes and advocate for our interests.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to provide expert analysis, modelling and advice on complex economic policies.
- Strong leadership skills, judgement, authority, and influence to manage client requirements and team priorities effectively.
- Proven capability in preparing and guiding the delivery of complex reports, submissions, and correspondence within tight timeframes.
- Experience in coaching, mentoring, and developing junior staff to build a motivated and capable team.
