Economic Strategy and Policy Advisor

Our organisation is seeking a highly experienced Economic Strategy and Policy Advisor to lead our efforts in driving economic growth and development. As a key member of our executive leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping our economic strategy and policy frameworks, working closely with government agencies and stakeholders to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement economic strategies and policies that promote sustainable economic growth and job creation
  • Lead whole-of-government policy initiatives and services, ensuring an economic and fiscal lens is applied to policy development and decision-making
  • Collaborate with senior leaders across the public sector to ensure effective coordination and delivery of economic and social policy outcomes
  • Represent our organisation in complex and sensitive negotiations and consultations, promoting our interests and advancing our agenda

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated expertise in economic strategy and policy development, with a strong understanding of government policies and procedures
  • Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and develop effective working relationships with key stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • A reputation for forging collaborative and productive working relationships across government and with key stakeholders at the most senior level
