Renewable Energy Sector Environmental Approvals Specialist

Environmental Approvals Leaders play a pivotal role in ensuring that projects meet regulatory requirements. We are seeking experienced professionals to lead and/or support environmental approvals for the renewable energy and infrastructure sectors.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, project experience, and general consulting and decision-making abilities. They will be responsible for leading and/or supporting environmental approvals for Commonwealth, State and local jurisdictions as applicable, collaborating with cross-functional teams, developing technical scopes and cost estimates, and directing and monitoring project management activities.
- Bachelor's degree in environmental planning or science, or related field.
- 3+ years of relevant infrastructure and/or energy industry experience including environmental approvals/permitting and/or management.
- Experience with and an understanding of the environmental/planning approvals process applicable to QLD projects.
Strong knowledge of project management and experience working as part of an integrated team. Critical thinking skills – i.e. able to synthesize large amounts of data into meaningful outcomes. Excellent report writing, data collation and management/presentation skills.
