Financial Accountant Role Overview

The role involves delivering timely and accurate financial statements and reports to local Controllers, as well as overseeing month-end closing activities and processes. You will be responsible for managing reporting, including uploading, completing, and validating in line with corporate and group reporting timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver monthly income statements and other reporting requirements.
  • Oversee month-end closing activities and processes.
  • Manage reporting and upload, complete, and validate in line with corporate and group reporting timelines.
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations, including all sub-ledgers.
  • Support the preparation of local unit budgets.
  • Provide day-to-day accounting and commercial support for unit operations.
  • Prepare information for lodgement with local authorities.
  • Assist with audits and local statutory compliance requirements.

About You:

  • Proven experience in financial reporting and reconciliations.
  • Proficiency with accounting systems and Excel; experience with OneStream or Anaplan a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of local GAAP, IFRS, and compliance requirements.
  • Effective communicator with a collaborative approach.
  • Comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels.
