Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled accounting professional to join our finance team in Australia. The successful candidate will have experience with Australian and international accounting standards, and will be responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Australian accounting standards.
  • Manage lease accounting, inventory accounting, and maintenance of fixed asset register.
  • Coordinate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes efficiently.
  • Daily bank reconciliation, including posting of customer receipting and overall bank transactions posting.
  • Assist and support the inter-company accounting function, including inter-company recharging and month end reconciliation.
  • Facilitate and complete statutory audit and annual tax filing.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA or CA qualification.
  • Strong technical accounting skills, including knowledge of Australian and US accounting standards.
  • Proven experience as a Senior Accountant in a global organization.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders.
