Key Role: Contracts Specialist

This is a prime opportunity within our National Contracts Team for an accomplished and skilled Contracts Specialist.

About the Position
  • Review, negotiate, and execute supply contracts in line with risk management guidelines and contractual obligations.
  • Collaborate with various departments to drive project success.
  • Support local businesses in delivering products and services as per contractual terms.
  • Identify and notify possible contract variations.
  • Streamline processes and conduct root cause analysis to optimize project efficiency.
  • Develop effective relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction.
  • Build positive working relationships and foster open communication with internal stakeholders.
  • Promote and lead a safety culture within the organization at all times.
Requirements
  • Degree in law, engineering, business, accounting, quantity surveying, or a related field.
  • Understanding of the construction industry.
  • Familiarity with common forms of supply contracts and agreements.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Google Apps, PDF software, and other relevant systems.
  • Strong commercial acumen and well-developed interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent customer focus and communication abilities.
  • Ability to drive performance, cultivate relationships, and foster teamwork.
  • Knowledge of competition legislation, compliance requirements, and industry directives.
