About the Role:

  • This role involves developing and implementing tailored governance processes, workflows, and templates to ensure alignment with corporate policies and strategic goals.
  • You will lead the creation and delivery of training programs for the Sustainable Infrastructure team and facilitate collaborative initiatives to enhance process application and knowledge exchange.
  • The Senior Governance Specialist will oversee the preparation and submission of reports and project submissions for key stakeholders and internal committees, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery.
  • You will conduct assurance audits focusing on compliance, quality, and operational effectiveness, including audits on Risk, Issue, and Change Management.
  • As the primary custodian for Sustainable Infrastructure capital project and program management procedures, you will ensure all documentation, work practices, and processes are well-organised, current, and accessible.
  • You will oversee the development, review, and validation of supporting guidelines, templates, and data related to the capital investment framework, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with best practices for decision-making and reporting.
  • The Senior Governance Specialist will provide comprehensive training, support & consulting services to Planners, Project Managers, and project teams, ensuring effective use of systems and tools.

Key Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business Management, Project Management, Risk Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in project management, establishing and implementing governance processes for projects and/or programs.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a proven ability to evaluate, assess, and resolve problems.

Estimated Salary Range: AU$120,000 - AU$150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
