Slalom seeks a seasoned professional to spearhead its Australian Financial Services industry efforts. As an Industry Lead, you will be responsible for setting the vision and direction of our Financial Services practice in Australia, driving growth, and delivering exceptional results for our clients.

About the Role

  • Establish industry targets and develop overall finance industry strategy to drive business growth and expansion
  • Partner with account leaders to develop and execute growth plans, ensuring accountability and achieving targets
  • Provide expert advice to clients on business and technology transformations, working closely with senior business and functional leaders to understand key drivers, define strategic needs, and develop future capabilities leveraging industry best practices
  • Mature our Financial Services industry community, develop our experts, and enhance our industry offerings and stories
  • Elevate the interconnections between business processes, technology, data, and people to drive performance across the enterprise
  • Forge strong connections and strategies with partners to best serve FSI clients together
  • Contribute to business development and solutions conversations across multiple Slalom clients

Your Qualifications

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience working in the Financial Services Industry
  • 10+ years' experience working in the consulting services industry supporting FSI customers
  • Proven track record of setting and achieving ambitious 5-year financial targets across diverse markets, identifying industry trends, and crafting insightful thought leadership and innovative solutions
  • Ability to pinpoint strategic accounts within the industry and collaborate across markets to formulate effective account strategies, actively seeking out target/greenfield accounts, and negotiating new Master Service Agreements (MSAs)
  • Strong experience in procurement and pricing strategies tailored to the unique dynamics of the industry
  • Cultivation of marketing and alliance partnerships to enhance market presence
  • Commitment to industry learning and development, staying abreast of emerging trends, and fostering alliances to contribute to the continuous growth and success of the organisation
  • Advanced experience and leadership in Competitive Research & Analysis, Benchmarking, Strategic Planning & Roadmap Development, Executive Stakeholder Management, Change Management, and Account Leadership
