Our Orthotic Department is a dynamic team that provides acute and long-term orthotic management to improve clients' quality of life. We offer a broad range of experience across various fields, including trauma, orthopaedics, neurosurgery, plastics, and burns.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Orthotist to join our team as a Grade 1 & 2 Prosthetic and Orthotic Specialist. The successful candidate will work closely with other allied health professionals and medical teams to provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide acute and long-term orthotic management to inpatients and outpatients
  • Work collaboratively with the Orthopaedic, Neurosurgery, and Trauma medical teams
  • Participate in an on-call service and/or weekend roster
  • Develop and provide orthotic services to various clinical units

Requirements

  • Experience in inpatient orthotic management
  • Excellent ability to manage a clinical caseload
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Eligible for Australian Orthotic & Prosthetic Association membership
