This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead our Corridor Management team in Bundaberg. The successful candidate will enjoy the lifestyle benefits of living in one of Queensland's major regional centres.
The role involves providing high-level engineering expertise, strategic leadership and guidance to oversee road corridor activities in the Wide Bay/Burnett District.
Main Responsibilities- Manage and provide technical direction to development control, access control, ancillary works and encroachments control and services liaison activities.
- Lead the corridor management team in close collaboration with advisors and other key stakeholders.
- Provide technical, legislative and policy advice on assessment of development applications and road corridor management issues.
- Support and advise on planning and design suitability and options, quality, environmental aspects and construction practices.
- Maintain and apply all relevant standards, policies, guidelines and regulatory requirements necessary to support informed decisions and courses of action.
- Supervise and coordinate resource allocation and foster a positive attitude toward achieving organisational objectives.
- Identify and manage networks and alliances of all stakeholders and manage expectations and issues of all parties.
