Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our corridor management team based in Bundaberg, Queensland.

The successful candidate will provide high-level engineering expertise, leadership, and guidance while overseeing road corridor activities in the Wide Bay/Burnett District.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and provide technical direction to development control, access control, ancillary works, and encroachments control and services liaison activities.
  • Lead the corridor management team in close liaison with advisors and other key stakeholders.
  • Provide technical, legislative, and policy advice on assessment of development applications and road corridor management issues.
  • Maintain and apply all relevant standards, policies, guidelines, and legislative requirements necessary to support responsible decisions and courses of action.
  • Supervise and coordinate resource allocation while encouraging effective teamwork and fostering a positive attitude toward organisational objectives.
Requirements:
  • A four-year, Washington Accord accredited, Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or equivalence assessed/accepted by Engineers Australia against Washington Accord benchmarks.
  • Registration as a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ).
  • Current holder of car driver's licence.
  • Criminal history check prior to appointment.
