Support Fun Runs

We are seeking volunteers to provide support services to athletes participating in the Ironman 70.3 Western Sydney event.

Roles Available:
  • Athlete Check-In: Assist with checking in athletes, providing race packs, and answering questions about event details.
  • Transition Assistant: Help athletes rack their bikes and provide information on the day's events schedule.
  • Ironkids Race: Participate in various roles, including check-in, finish line, and course marshals.
  • Water Bottle Filling: Pre-fill water bottles for cyclists to collect during the race.
  • Transition Marshal: Direct athletes as they transition from Swim to Bike and Bike to Run.
  • Finish Line: Hand out medals, towels, and timing chips to finishers.
  • Recovery Area: Provide refreshments to finishers, including water, electrolyte, fruit, and ice-cream.

Volunteer shifts are available on both Saturday and Sunday with various time slots throughout the day.
