Energy Market Compliance Specialist

We're looking for a seasoned expert to spearhead our compliance efforts. As a Senior Compliance Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our compliance strategy by offering expert guidance and leadership on regulatory and internal compliance issues.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyse complex regulatory frameworks to ensure compliance requirements are well understood and integrated into everyday operations.
- Assign compliance responsibilities and work closely with internal teams and external partners to create and implement strong, risk-based controls.
- Track compliance performance, investigate potential violations, and manage interactions with regulators.
Your expertise will help us establish ourselves as a responsible and transparent organisation.
About You:- Tertiary qualification in business, engineering, law, regulation or relevant discipline.
- Strong understanding of energy market regulations, particularly gas markets and wholesale electricity markets.
- Proven experience in compliance frameworks, including developing, implementing, and maintaining compliance programs.
