Senior Trade Policy Advisor

Role Overview:
As a senior policy professional, you will play a key role in shaping government trade policy deliberations. This exciting opportunity requires a highly organized and influential individual who can effectively communicate with various stakeholders.
Job Requirements:
- Contract: 3 months plus a 3 month option
- Eligibility: Australian Citizens with at least a Baseline security clearance
- Location: Anywhere in Australia - hybrid/WFH in each location
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the coordination and development of briefing products, policy advice and talking points to inform and influence government deliberations and outcomes
- Use knowledge of Government policy agenda to influence trade simplification objectives and monitor strategic developments across Government
Requirements:
- A Policy and Engagement Specialist, ideally within government
- Ability to deliver requirements that align with organisational constraints of multiple agencies/entities
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to translate between business and technical terminology
