Early Childhood Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director/Teacher to join our team at Ipswich Kindergarten. As a Director/Teacher, you will be responsible for leading a team of educators and providing high-quality, play-based learning programs for children.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of educators to provide a high-quality, play-based learning program for children.
- Develop and implement educational programs that meet the needs of children and families.
- Work closely with the Educational Leader and Administration Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the centre.
- Provide guidance and support to educators to ensure they are meeting the needs of children and families.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with parents and guardians, community networks, schools, and allied health professionals.
- Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood or equivalent.
- Queensland College of Teacher Registration or eligibility for Teacher Registration in Queensland.
- Experience as a Director of a Kindergarten.
- Recognised First Aid, CPR, and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
- Blue Card or Exemption Card.
- Child Protection Training or willingness to undertake training prior to commencement.
Ipswich Kindergarten is a non-profit community kindergarten affiliated with Lady Gowrie QLD. We are committed to providing a high-quality, play-based learning program for children and their families.
We are a double unit centre, operating a Monday/Tuesday and a Thursday/Friday Kindergarten program. Our session times are 8.15am to 3.45pm.
