Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Auto Electrician to join our maintenance team, responsible for carrying out electrical repairs and maintenance on a diverse range of equipment.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience working with heavy vehicles, light vehicles, and fixed plant applications, as well as excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a Monday to Friday roster, occasional weekends, and support the team on site when required.

You will be working with a fleet of equipment consisting of Earthmoving Equipment, Trucks, Trailers, and Speciality Equipment, performing tasks such as wiring repairs, IVMS installs and testing, electrical diagnostics, and general repairs.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Carry out electrical repairs and maintenance on a variety of equipment
  • Wiring repairs, new installations, and fit-outs
  • IVMS installs and testing
  • Electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting
  • General repairs and maintenance
  • Travel to worksites as required
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Relevant trade qualification (Heavy Vehicle Applications)
  • Oil and gas industry experience (preferred)
  • Previous experience in automotive air-conditioning
  • 'Can Do' attitude and ability to work unsupervised
  • High level of pride in work quality and attention to detail
  • HR licence (valuable)
