About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Worker to join our team in the Blacktown area. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our elderly customers, enabling them to live independently in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Domestic Assistance: Cleaning and maintaining the home environment to ensure a safe and comfortable living space for our customers.
  • Personal Care: Assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and medication management.
  • Meal Preparation and Shopping: Helping our customers with meal preparation and grocery shopping to ensure they have access to nutritious food.
  • Social Support and Transport: Providing emotional support and transportation to appointments, social events, and lifestyle activities.
  • Respite and Emotional Support: Offering respite care and emotional support to our customers and their families.

Requirements
  • Current P1 Class or Above Australian Drivers License: Hold a valid driver's license and have access to a registered vehicle.
  • Compassion and Empathy: Demonstrate a genuine care and understanding for our elderly customers and their needs.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Possess the ability to think critically and solve problems independently.
  • Availability: Be available to work at least 3 days per week, Monday to Friday.
