We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Aged Care Support Worker to join our team at KinCare in the Blacktown area. As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry, to ensure our customers' homes are safe and comfortable.
  • Assist with meal preparation and shopping to promote healthy eating and independence.
  • Offer social support and transport to lifestyle activities, helping our customers stay connected and engaged.
  • Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and medication management, to support our customers' physical and emotional well-being.
  • Offer respite and emotional support to our customers and their families.
  • Provide complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia.

Requirements
  • Some experience as a care or support worker, including experience with personal care.
  • A current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle – travel is part of the role.
  • Ability to work independently and find solutions to everyday problems, knowing when to ask for help.
  • Availability to work at least 3 days – Monday to Friday, with no night or weekend work.
What to Expect

When you apply, we will send you a link to a short online assessment from Vervoe to give you a sense of what a day in the life of our Home Care Worker will be like. Before joining our team, we will perform a National Police Check/Right to Work, functional fitness assessment on your behalf, as well as confirming evidence of COVID vaccination.
