Civil Infrastructure Project Manager Role

We are seeking an accomplished Civil Design Engineer to oversee the development of our civil engineering projects. The successful candidate will possess strong technical expertise in civil engineering disciplines and a passion for delivering results-driven solutions.

The role involves leading the design, planning, and construction of electricity substations across the UK from concept to completion, collaborating closely with internal teams and clients to ensure all requirements are met. You will be involved in every aspect of the project, from feasibility studies and cost estimation to quality control and assurance.

  • Oversee the production and review of engineering drawings, calculations, specifications, and reports.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.
  • Attend progress meetings, design team meetings, and take responsibility for managing design risks and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
  • Provide innovative engineering solutions to site-based problems and mentor junior team members.

You will have a degree in Civil Engineering and be working towards Chartered or Incorporated status. Desirable qualifications include experience working in the electricity distribution sector, knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and Civils3D, and a full UK driving licence.
