Retail Leadership Position
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Retail Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional customer service, managing store operations, and driving sales growth.
Main Responsibilities:
- Store Operations Management: Oversee daily store activities, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, stock replenishment, and maintenance of store standards.
- Team Development: Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise staff to meet performance standards and provide excellent customer service. Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and staff development.
- Customer Service Delivery: Act as the face of the store, ensuring all customer interactions are handled with professionalism and care. Resolve customer complaints effectively to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Sales and Merchandising Strategies: Drive sales through effective merchandising strategies, promotional activities, and market trend awareness. Implement and monitor sales goals.
- Financial Acumen: Manage store finances, control costs, and achieve financial targets. Handle cash management, banking, and daily sales reporting.
- Compliance and Regulatory Management: Ensure compliance with health, safety, legal, and regulatory requirements. Maintain pharmacy standards if applicable, including managing pharmacist schedules and prescription services.
- Community Engagement: Build relationships within the community to enhance store reputation and customer base.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Leadership Experience: Proven experience as a Retail Manager, preferably in a retail environment for higher salary consideration.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership, team-building, and communication skills.
- Retail Knowledge: Deep understanding of retail operations, inventory management, and customer service excellence.
- Problem-Solving Ability: Ability to handle complex issues with effective problem-solving capabilities.
- Adaptability: Willingness to adapt to a unique location.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A diploma or degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory with substantial relevant experience.
