Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and patrons of the Blue Mountains Theatre, ensuring a positive experience for all.
  • Manage ticket sales at the Box Office, including processing transactions and handling customer inquiries.
  • Coordinate venue hire enquiries and bookings, ensuring seamless communication with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Assist with administrative duties, including reporting, event setup, and daily cash reconciliation.
  • Work collaboratively with the Facility Manager and other team members to achieve operational goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • Prior experience working in a ticketing, admin, events, or front-of-house role in an arts organization.
  • Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service and a positive experience for clients and patrons.
  • Ability to work effectively in a small team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proven ability to initiate, plan, and prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster system, including evenings and weekends as required.

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience with managing events and event bookings.
  • Experience with varied software systems, particularly event booking systems.
