Support Professional for Independent Living

Job Description:
Supporting individuals with complex support needs to live satisfying lives in our community, promoting health, wellbeing and social inclusion through person-centred practice. This includes assistance with personal care tasks such as grooming, toileting, meal preparation, etc., promoting independent decision making, and working within the principles of person-centred practice.
Requirements:
- Ability to build rapport with a diverse range of customers
- Experience working with adults with complex support needs (both physical disabilities and mental health concerns)
- Driven, energetic, committed & patient
- Must be compassionate
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to learn
What You Need:
- Current driver's licence and vehicle (essential)
- Working With Children Check (or willing to obtain)
- NDIS Worker Screen (or ability to obtain one is essential)
- NDIS Module 1 (or willing to obtain)
- National Police Check (or willing to obtain)
