Family Support Specialist

This role presents an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on families by providing support and guidance to improve their overall health, wellbeing, and resilience.
The Family Support Worker will be part of our Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) cluster, working towards improving the health and wellbeing of individuals who are considered homeless or use drugs and/or alcohol.
- Deliver evidence-based interventions and harm reduction support to families.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, community groups, and local organizations.
- Collect and analyze data to inform service delivery and improve outcomes.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
Essential Skills and Qualifications- Relevant qualifications in AOD/Mental Health or similar field.
- Understanding of harm minimization principles and models.
- Demonstrated experience working in the Drug & Alcohol sector.
