We are seeking a highly skilled Network Technical Specialist to join our team in the Global Operations Centre in Clayton, Victoria. As part of our 24x7x365 operations, this role is crucial for delivering amazing experiences to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain high availability and performance service levels within technically complex environments.
  • Work effectively as a leader, technology specialist or project operative to produce agreed business outcomes.
  • Detect and respond to customer impacting events, proactively identifying and driving resolution of Network at Risk events.
  • Communicate with stakeholders, support groups, DevOps and Incident Management teams, and external partners and organisations.
  • Monitor alarms and manage incidents end-to-end (from creation to resolution).
  • Manage changes and organise hardware replacement activities.

About You:

  • Demonstrated relevant professional experience in real-time operational environments, preferably with some exposure to large and complex, mixed technology internet facing systems and applications.
  • Operational experience in a broad range of technology areas including security, Unix, LINUX or Windows certification(s), and networking certification.
  • A good understanding of the ITIL framework and high-level problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Self-motivated and willing to own and solve issues, with well-developed written and oral communications skills.
  • Demonstrated capacity to work harmoniously as a member of a multi-disciplinary team and to establish effective work relationships.

What We Offer:

  • An estimated annual salary of $120,000 - $150,000 AUD based on location and experience.
