Electrical and Instrumentation Maintenance Planner Role

This is a challenging position that requires strong skills in electrical and instrumentation maintenance planning. As an Electrical and Instrumentation Maintenance Planner, you will play a crucial role in the development and implementation of planning and quality processes.

The ideal candidate for this role will have 10+ years' experience within a similar industry or related industry workplace. They should possess a degree or diploma in Engineering or applicable trade qualification and have knowledge of relevant discipline and Industry procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and best practices.

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Reviewing CMMS daily for approved notifications and creating work orders.
  • Conducting site inspections to provide a detailed scope of work.
  • Populating the work order & workpack with tasks, discipline hours, materials, specialist vendor requirements, PMRs and other services required to execute the work.
  • Maintaining integrity of the CMMS.
  • Planning and scheduling preventative workorders, ensuring statutory testing and compliance is maintained.
  • Reserving all stock materials, identifying part numbers and all information required for the purchase of non-stock items.
  • Maintaining an overview of user status constraints, verifying the workorder status accurately represents the progress & constraint through the entire life cycle of the workorder.
  • Participating in the management of planning & quality processes.
  • Liasing with Area Planners, identifying SIMOPS opportunities during the development of the Turnaround, 90 Day, 28 Day, Programs & Alliance weekly schedule.
  • Attending/Chairing the Weekly Planning & Scheduling meetings.
  • Taking feedback on the work at the completion of the job and continually improving information for future work.
  • Creating job specific tasklists, updating critical BOM's.
  • Participating in the development & control of the R&M Area Budgets.
  • Demonstrating a pro-active role in identifying safety improvements.
  • Providing pro-active, constructive and innovate input which will enhance present practices.
  • Actively pursuing personal development utilising the My Success Plan process.

Requirements:

  • 10+ Years' experience within a similar industry or related industry workplace.
  • Degree or diploma in Engineering or applicable trade qualification.
  • Knowledge of relevant discipline and Industry procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and best practices.
  • Previous CMMS experience is highly desirable (SAP) (Primavera).
  • Highly effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly skilled in MS Suite Skills - Word, Excel.
  • Actively commits to being a OH&S Leader.
