The job involves planning and organizing maintenance activities to ensure aircraft are in good working order.

Key responsibilities include compiling and issuing work orders, developing and maintaining aircraft maintenance schedules, analyzing and planning maintenance tasks, and controlling the flow of work within the maintenance environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Compile and issue work orders and maintenance priorities to maintenance staff
  • Analyze, plan, organize and control the maintenance and repairs of aircraft and aircraft components
  • Develop and maintain aircraft maintenance schedules

Requirements:

  • Strong background and in-depth knowledge of aircraft maintenance
  • Ability to develop and implement new policies and maintenance programs that enhance maintenance operations
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products and maintenance planning software
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience on Super Hornet or Growler aircraft platforms
  • Minimum 12 months experience as a Maintenance Controller/Planner in an aircraft maintenance environment
