Job Title: Operations Planning Specialist

Job Description:

The Operations Planning Specialist will report to the Operations Manager and be responsible for planning and scheduling routine, preventative and corrective maintenance activities across a designated region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and implement scheduling for routine operations, preventative and corrective maintenance works to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Undertake planning duties including creation, updating and recording of notifications, scheduling and assigning of work orders, compilation of work instructions and work packs, recording and review of work orders and asset history.
  • Schedule and coordinate all mandatory inspections (Lifting, Fire extinguishers, Test & Tag, Cranes/Hoists, Instrumentation, survey equipment, Forklift and EWP).
  • Create and maintain a defect and corrective work list detailing required information, risk and priority.
Requirements:
  • Proven organisational skills and competence in planning, scheduling, coordinating and monitoring work programs, resources and associated logistics.
  • Ability to manage demanding workload while working in changing environment.
  • Experience working in planning or scheduling role within similar environment.
  • Working knowledge of word processing, excel, database, asset maintenance management software and project management software.
  • Class 'C' driver's license.
